White Card - Construction Industry Training OH&S Induction Training


Course Description

A general Occupational Health and Safety Induction Course specifically designed to meet Construction Industry requirements.

Construction induction training will provide participants with an understanding of:

  • their rights and responsibilities under OH&S law
  • common hazards and risks in the construction industry
  • basic risk management principles, and
  • the standard of behaviour expected of workers on construction sites.

On successful completion of the above unit of competency, participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment by Practical Training Pathways. Detail of attainment of the unit of competency will be lodged with WorkSafe and a ‘Construction Induction Card’ will be forwarded to the participant.

No prerequisites exist for this unit of competency, however participants are required to provide photo identification.
