Course Description

This is a general qualification for the Warehousing and Storage Industry. It involves a defined range of skilled operations, usually within a range of broader related activities involving known routines, methods and procedures, with some discretion and judgement in selecting equipment, services or contingency measures and within known time constraints. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Packaging Rules

To achieve a Certificate III in Warehousing Operations, 19 units must be completed:

  • 3 core units
  • 16 elective units

  • Apply chain of responsibility legislation, regulations and workplace procedures (TLIF0001)
  • Follow work health and safety procedures (TLIF1001)
  • Complete workplace orientation/induction procedures (TLIL1001)

Elective Units

  • Complete receival/despatch documentation (TLIA3015)
  • Organise despatch operations (TLIA3018)
  • Organise receival operations (TLIA3019)
  • Identify products and store to specifications (TLIA3017)
  • Use inventory systems to organise stock control (TLIA3016)
  • Control and order stock (TLIA3038)
  • Receive and store stock (TLIA3039)
  • Deliver and monitor a service to customers (BSBCUS301)
  • Work effectively with diversity (BSBDIV301)
  • Organise personal work priorities and development (BSBWOR301)
  • Check and assess operational capabilities of equipment (TLIB2001)
  • Apply fatigue management strategies (TLIF2010)
  • Apply quality systems (TLIJ3002)
  • Participate in environmentally sustainable work practices (TLIU2012)
  • Lead a work team or group (TLIG3002)
