Course Description

This is a general qualification for the Warehousing and Storage Industry. It involves a range of tasks involving known routines and procedures, and taking some accountability for the quality of work outcomes. No licensing legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Packaging Rules

To achieve a Certificate III in Hospitality, 16 units must be completed:

  • 3 core units
  • 13 elective units


Core Units

  • Apply chain of responsibility legislation, regulations and workplace procedures (TLIF0001)
  • Follow work health and safety procedures (TLIF1001)
  • Complete workplace orientation/induction procedures (TLIL1001)

Elective Units

  • Apply accident-emergency procedures (TLIF2006)
  • Use product knowledge to complete work operations (TLIA2014)
  • Identify products and store to specifications (TLIA3017)
  • Maintain and use hand tools (TLIB1028)
  • Process workplace documentation (TLIE2008)
  • Package goods (TLIA2011)
  • Pick and process orders (TLIA2012)
  • Receive goods (TLIA2013)
  • Replenish stock (TLIA2020)
  • Despatch stock (TLIA2021)
  • Participate in stocktakes (TLIA2022)
  • Work in a socially diverse environment (TLIG2007)
  • Deliver a service to customers (BSBCUS201)
